So Trump is not happy with the qualifications for working at the FAA. OK, then make the tests more difficult and when you find the more qualified people, hire them, but only after you've given the older employees the chance to take the new tests. If you fire an an employee, and you have no one to replace them, then that job will not be filled ( except by someone who has not shown any qualifications) and, at the FAA, cause a lapse in safety.
