Testing out my video editing program. Still learning but I got something finished. This song is called Melodie Française, and instrumental with a second guitar overdub. Since I can't play two guitars at once, I had to take two videos and overlay them. Hope you like it! Thanks for listening!

Marie's Country Bar is in Hadamar, a small town near Limburg. One of the waitresses , who was from one of the two big islands off the coast of Europe , was named Marie. A very funny gal who deserved to have a song written about her. This is the instrumental version. Yes, I played the drums.

I moved the online shop away from Bandcamp, which wasn't working for me. It's now available
through the Hubzilla cart plugin
. Sound clips are available through the
Discography
page. For people who absolutely don't want to sign up for Hubzilla or Zap, there's also a
simple manual version
which requires no sign-up, but
does
require manual interaction on my part.

Here's a picture of our Christmas concert in Welschbillig, which is in the area of Trier, Germany. It was great fun with Yvonne and Mareile (vocals) Michael (sax and flute) Raimund (trombone) Thomas (drums) Frank (keyboard) and Rüdiger (bass). Also poetry reading from Christina and some other young children. Everyone caught the spirit! A wonderful evening!

First portrait of the Ancient Aliens, drawn by Ken Matthew. The artist did not tell Jim or me which was which, but I'm assuming that I'm on the right, since he's the younger, better looking one.

Hi everyone! I'm off to see the guitar wizard (Jim Sawyers) for a few weeks of musical collaberation, Mexican cuisine; visiting with friends and family in Hotel California; a working vacation.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good time. See you in mid December!

While listening to some old recordings of mine with baritone sax, I found this;
"Tell Me Heartache".
The lyrics were written by Joyce Dutton, who was, (after my divorce from "she who shall not be named"), my lover at the time. Joyce wrote the lyrics for me, asking the questions that anyone would ask themselves, after having their fairy tale relationship destroyed. "Time heals all wounds", so I can enjoy the song without falling apart. Thanks again to Joyce for putting the locomotive back on the track and for the lovely lyrics.
