doesn't surprise me at all. they demand log-in details from people who enter, so why shouldn't they grab what's freely available anyway? it's what i would be doing if it was my job to keep out those who don't like what i'm protecting.

Minor correction (but some actions of the Department Of Justice are pretty suspect too!)

The "unconstitutional" ruling is, so far, pretty narrow. But it's a really good start.

The lawsuit filed by USAID employees and contractors argued that Musk and DOGE are wielding power the Constitution reserves only for those who win elections or are confirmed by the Senate. ...

Chuang said DOGE’s and Musk’s fast-moving destruction of USAID likely harmed the public interest by depriving elected lawmakers of their “constitutional authority to decide whether, when and how to close down an agency created by Congress.”...

It's only as narrow as Chief Justice Roberts brain. Did Roberts give the Oath of Office again to the guy who declared he wanted to "suspend" the Constitution? Did anyone ever read the Constitution ? It states; "he shall have Power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses
against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment." Trump was impeached because of bribery in Ukraine, yet Paul Manafort, who pleaded guilty, was given a pardon. That was a CASE of impeachment. the Constitution does not say the President must be CONVICTED of the impeachment. It only states "In cases of impeachment". America, the land of excuses. The dog did not eat our homework, it ate the country.
