I will be making some political comments here, and my first one is to repeat what a Danish member of the European parliament just said in regards to Trump. He said Trump should, as far as Greenland is concerned, go and do something anatomically impossible

I'm leaving Face Book.

A lot of my contacts on Face Book are people I went to high school with. They already know my history, but since I am new on the Hub, I'll give you some background. I grew up in Los Altos California, ( south of San Francisco, silicon valley) which was a nice upper middle class paradise, where the theft of a bicycle was the headline in the local newspaper. At the age of six, after hearing an Elvis record at my friend's house, I decided to be a musician. In grade school I tried the clarinet, (because there was one in the house that no one was using), but the teacher was a tyrant who didn't like children and was (to put it mildly) an aßßhole. I told my mother I didn't like clarinet any more. That was of course a lie, but in those days you couldn't say anything against an adult. A few years later I got a guitar for Christmas and I was on my way. My parents bought a Silvertone steel string acoustic from Sears. It was good enough to get started. My dad, who was a great gardener, showed me how to trim apricot trees. We had 5 apricot trees on our homestead. I used that skill to work the neighborhood, and made enough to pay for my first electric, a Guild Starfire single pickup. (To be continued).

Happy New Year, Alan! I worked up a couple of backgrounds, but I like yours better.
My monitor just smoked in. I have to go to town and buy another. I need the monitor for all things. ...Strangely dependent on digital. I hope yor eye(s) went well.
